A game about Mew and some other things. Made for the Bitsy Essay Jam using bitsy and pixsy and bitsy audio <3
the game uses my adaption/interpretation of some sprites n tiles from the main series pokémon games. music is a midi version of bright eyes that I edited with beepbox lol
Read about Mew's history here!!! They're so cool and I still love them very much.

Very lovely. Can relate to that sort of melancholy, both relating to the aching conviction of how absolutely beautiful or great a song or creature is, and that moment when you keep playing the game after it's all done and it just stretches on, seemingly ignorant of the fact that the credits have already rolled...just fragments of stories living in a world that went past the narrative rainbow so to speak. Thank you for submitting this. :)
Wow, what a great game! I loved the music and graphics, especially when the 'glitches' started piling up. Your memories come through so clearly and transport the player back to the early 00's completely.
Wow that was really lovely, and emotive too.
that was wonderful! i couldn't relate to any of this at all, yet it made me feel warm and fuzzy and happy. thank u!!!
love this! as a kid my white whale was Gardevoir i was very bad at the game and could never catch a Ralts and i thought Wally was the coolest for having one :') then i got obsessed with the PMD games but was also very bad at those and was never able to save Gardevoir in the Very Final Quest lol
ah sorry for rambling just wanted you to know that this brought back a lot of memories for me!
omg thank you.... never apologise about rambling about pmd..... there's an alternate version of this bitsy that's just 10 yr old me closing my game in horror every time i ran into a monster house
That was beautiful. It reminds me of my own experiences with pokemon as a child. I can relate to that desire to wander off the maps and explore the forbidden places beyond the trees, and how those memories remain now. Thank you for making this.
and thank you so much for playing it <3
this is such a beautiful and special experience. i saw a lot of common threads with my own childhood too that i didn’t even really realise were there. i’m glad you made this and i got to learn a little bit about you through it 💜
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad it gave you something <3<3
